Took my first stab at a BC Arts Council grant with my short film, BEN’S CHILI. This is a short film surrounding the struggles of Dawn, a widowed hoarder, who decides to rekindle her love of cooking at a chili cook-off. Always feels good to finish one of these. Good luck to those in contention!
I never expected to say this, but I will be both screenwriter and director of my own short, set to film in Victoria, BC in late fall, 2014. The script will surround the disastrous failings of a 23-year-old university student after she invites over a new “friend” she met through a risque online dating site.
