AUGUST in BC: Principle Photography Complete for OUT OF SOUND

Being on set is unlike any other experience: All encompassing with long days. I tend to finish a film feeling accomplished yet exhausted, and ready for a break.

Something was different with this shoot, though. It ended and I felt invigorated and inspired to do it all over again. This was certainly due in part to the energy and investment of the cast and crew (and maybe also the fact that I wasn’t filming during the winter?)

Big thanks to every single person who contributed. To Julia and Chen who hustled to squeeze in every last setup; to our three brilliant actresses; and to the smoke who didn’t make an appearance until the following week. On to the edit!
